About Superpose 2
Superpose 2 is an automatic clean‑plate generator for After Effects. It analyses an image sequence recorded with a locked‑off camera and removes moving elements—including snow, rain, and crowds—to produce a clean background. Version 2.3, released on March 3, 2026, supports After Effects 2026 and 2025. On macOS it runs only on Apple Silicon; Intel‑based Macs are no longer supported, though version 2.2 can be requested for older hardware and older After Effects releases. The plugin is listed as free in this catalog, and licensing details are provided on the developer’s page. A demo video demonstrates its workflow.
