About Wind

Wind adds wind‑style animation to After Effects, supporting text, vector, video, shape layers, and JPEG, AI, PSD files within AE’s native 3D space. It works without a fixed layer limit, constrained only by system resources. The plugin includes 17 presets with in/out transitions, 10 directions, secondary drift controls, and numerous interpolation and easing options via sliders. Features such as fade and scale transitions, auto‑orient to camera, marker‑based timing, and the ability to deactivate turbulence for mechanical motion are provided. After building an animation, individual layers can be selected for global transform adjustments through master controls, and fast build and restore functions are available. Wind is compatible with After Effects versions from CC 2014 through 2026 and works with the After Effects 2017 C4D renderer.
