About AEVIEWER 2

AEVIEWER 2 by MotionLand is a media browser for After Effects and Premiere Pro. It lets you preview, apply, and import projects and media files in one click, and it is among the most popular tools on aescripts.

The browser supports drag‑and‑drop importing, a delete‑file option, and preview generation for compositions. It can detect an FFX preset’s type and create a matching layer, and it works with FFX presets that have animated previews for the default After Effects presets. Search behaviour and speed have been refined in recent updates, with shortcuts to toggle the search field. PRO features add EXR sequence preview and import, SVG import, and a resizable big‑thumbnail preview mode.

AEVIEWER 2 supports After Effects and Premiere Pro versions 2021 through 2026. The current release is version 2.2.3, dated November 21, 2024, and it is listed here as free. A demo video is available on the developer’s page.
