About Control Groups

Control Groups is an After Effects panel built around fast layer recall and navigation. It provides ten customizable Control Group buttons and ten Space switching buttons, each with its own icon, colour stripe, and slot number. Modifier keys let you edit group contents by overwriting, adding, subtracting, or exclusive trimming selections. Saved Locations act as timeline bookmarks for instant navigation, and undo/redo history persists across sessions with a configurable cap. The panel can be resized freely into flat or tall layouts and all functions are available through a mouse‑only context menu. Pre‑configured Stream Deck profiles support Classic, Mini, XL, and Plus devices, with encoder navigation on the Plus model.
