About Elastic Comp Changer
Elastic Comp Changer is a script for After Effects that modifies the duration of a composition along with its layers and any nested pre‑compositions. Users add or remove frames via dedicated + and – buttons, and an Options window provides finer control. The script can offset all keyframes, layer markers and comp markers that occur after the playhead, and it works on both unlocked and locked layers. When the keyframe offset option is enabled, keyframes in inactive layers are also shifted. Layer start times can be changed after the playhead, and In/Out points can be moved while preserving those start times. Version 2.0.2 (October 2025) refines handling of nested locked pre‑comps when the Locked Layers option is off. The script is compatible with After Effects 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022.
