About Epidemic Sound
The Epidemic Sound plugin integrates music discovery and sound‑effect browsing into After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition. After signing in, users can access the full catalog, personal playlists, and liked tracks from within the editing workspace. Searches can be performed by describing the desired sound, and the plugin can suggest tracks based on specific frames in the video timeline. Users may create custom versions of tracks by trimming length, looping sections, or including/excluding parts, then preview and drag the result straight onto the timeline. Audio format and download location are configurable. Previewing tracks and using the search tools is free, but unlimited use of the catalog requires an active Epidemic Sound subscription. The plugin is listed as compatible with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition version 23.0 and later. The current release (version 1.18.8, updated 2026‑01‑29) focuses on minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
