About HyperImport

HyperImport is a script for After Effects that manages asset import from both cloud services and local storage, automatically unpacking zip files and optionally reducing files after import. It includes asset replacement and auto-replacement capabilities, allowing items to be swapped within a project. The script offers a suite of layer selection commands for text, null, shape, 3D, guide, audio, inverse, random, parent, and children layers. Project‑window tools let users reveal items in the project panel or file explorer, organize assets, and add comments. Layer tools cover trimming, renaming, label colors, track mattes, markers, parenting, and offsetting. Workflow functions include consolidating and reducing projects, collecting fonts and files, downloading assets from a text list, and saving expressions to JSX files. Customizable shortcut keys, custom functions, and custom expressions are supported. Compatible with After Effects CC 2018 through 2024.
