About RE:Vision Effects ReelSmart Motion Blur Regular

ReelSmart Motion Blur Regular creates motion blur by automatically tracking the movement of each pixel from one frame to the next. It runs under a Regular license in After Effects (CS6‑2026), Premiere Pro (CS6‑2026), DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Catalyst Edit, HitFilm, Movie Studio, Natron and Vegas Pro. The plug‑in offers a Fine Tune control for variable blur strength, can remove existing blur, and supports 360 ° footage with edge‑connected handling. For 3D workflows it can use supplied motion vectors. The effect is GPU‑accelerated but also operates in CPU‑only mode when a compatible GPU is unavailable. Version 6.6.5 was released in April 2026.

Features

  • Applies motion blur based on automatic tracking of every pixel from one frame to the next
  • Can blur using motion vectors supplied by your 3D system
  • Fine Tune control for a variable amount of blur
  • Removal of existing motion blur
  • 360 Motion Blur that tracks 360 footage and accounts for the connectedness of the sides, top, and bottom edges
  • GPU accelerated, with a CPU-only mode when a compatible GPU isn’t available

Best for

Editors and compositors who need to add, adjust, or remove motion blur on standard, 3‑D, or 360 ° footage across multiple host applications.
