About AI Video Background Remover Trial

AI Video Background Remover Trial is a Vakago Tools extension for After Effects (version 18.0 and later) and Premiere Pro (version 15.0 and later) that creates masks to remove video backgrounds. The trial expires after 15 days and may not be used for profit, production, or commercial projects. After installation, open the panel via Window > Extensions > AI Background Remover – TRIAL. The October 2024 update improves mask quality with edge smoothing and temporal blending, and utilizes both GPU and available CPU cores for better performance. In After Effects, a Keyframe Distance option renders every n‑th frame and interpolates mask points, while a threshold setting reduces small background masks. To upgrade, uninstall the trial first.
