Repeater, developed by Plugin Everything, is a free After Effects utility that repeats any layer without pre‑composing or converting it to a shape layer. It works with solid, footage, shape, 3D, and text layers, preserving live links to the original content. Users can generate copies in any direction, enable a mirror mode, and offset copies in time. The plugin inherits all parented transforms, supports text animators (tracking, line spacing, multiline), and carries over motion blur without adding its own. Technical details include 32‑bit per channel precision, Multi‑Frame Rendering (MFR) support, and native execution on Apple Silicon Macs. Compatibility spans After Effects 2026 back to CS6, and version 1.0.4 (released February 13 2024) fixed an inherit‑layer‑scale issue when layer time was offset.
