About Round Inset

Round Inset insets a selected face and retains 100% of its original rounded corners, handling irregular shapes as well. After inset, the result can be beveled to create a smooth surface. Settings appear in the left‑bottom menu: Inset Size controls the offset, Size Threshold determines which edges remain corners, Scale of corners adjusts corner shape, and Merge Vertices with an adjustable Merge Distance auto‑merges collapsed vertices. A Prevent overlap option stops corners from intersecting, working on faces with or without rounded corners (set Threshold to zero for the latter). The add‑on operates on individual faces only. It is compatible with Blender versions 2.83 through 5.1 and is distributed under the GPL license.
