About Save Objects 2

Save Objects 2 is an After Effects extension from MotionCodes designed for saving and reusing project assets. It can save individual or multiple compositions, layers—including multiple layers or comps—and all associated properties, providing a live GIF preview for each saved item. The extension also stores presets, fonts, masks, markers, keyframe interpolation, expressions and JSX code, with editable values. A media browser lets users preview, apply and import projects, presets and media files in a single click, and the tool supports project reduction via the Collect Files method, gathering fonts as needed. A free add‑on package containing dozens of ready‑made layers and presets is included. Version 2.2.1 fixes a Windows 11 freezing issue and a OneDrive link problem, and the extension is compatible with After Effects 2026 through CC 2019.
