About Superluminal Stardust
Superluminal Stardust provides a node‑based workflow for creating 3D and 2D particle effects inside After Effects. Nodes include Emitters, Particles, Replica, Forces, Auxiliary Emitters, 3D Models, Text & Mask, and Maps, plus space deformers such as Sphere, Box, Bend, Twist, Maps and Black Hole. Splines can be animated as paths or emitters, and containers let particles be emitted within spheres, boxes or 3D models. Smart presets can be applied with a single click. The plugin runs on After Effects versions from CC 2015.3 through 2024 on macOS and Windows, offers native Apple Silicon support, and requires a GPU with OpenGL 3.3 or later, 1 GB of RAM and about 100 MB of disk space. Two render nodes are included with a purchase.
