About GEOlayers 3

GEOlayers 3 is a plugin for After Effects that enables creation and animation of maps within the application. It has been rebuilt with new features and supports Helium for 3D landscapes. Maps can be pitched, rotated, and fully interact with After Effects’ native 3D environment. Styling is performed directly in After Effects using Point, Line, and Facet renderers, with realistic shading, fog, mist, shadows, and depth of field. The tool includes automatic labeling, multilingual Mapcomp labels, a scripting API, and faster finalization. GEOlayers 3 connects to the MapTiler Cloud platform for global high‑quality maps, allows import of OpenStreetMap features, drawing of 3D buildings, and uploading of custom datasets. A data license for commercial projects is included, and the bundle contains Helium AI, a Stable Diffusion‑based image generation plugin.
