About TurboLayers
TurboLayers, developed by ILLUMINA, is an After Effects panel that creates new layers—Adjustment, Camera, Light, Null, Shape, Solid, or Text—immediately above the currently selected layer in a composition. Each new layer is automatically trimmed to the in‑point, out‑point and duration of the selected layer. If no layer is selected or the composition is empty, TurboLayers creates a plain new layer without trimming. The panel has no configurable options, is designed to be slim, and can be docked in either horizontal or vertical orientation. Compatibility includes After Effects CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4 and CS3. The latest catalog version is 1.3a, dated January 2013.
