About Versioner

Versioner is an After Effects tool for handling multiple language or content versions within a single project. Instead of duplicating projects or comps, you tag specific layers to specific versions and switch between them instantly with one click. The workflow includes creating new versions, linking layers, switching, duplicating, deleting, and converting to selected versions. You can edit a layer’s name or colour and unlink layers when needed. Versioner uses layer IDs and timeline markers to track versions, removes its own markers, cleans unused IDs, and never deletes your artwork or layers. Released as version 1.0, it supports After Effects CC 2019 through the 2026 release.
