About Workflower

Workflower is a layer‑management script for Adobe After Effects, developed by Constantin Maier. It enables users to create groups and sub‑groups, collapse or expand them, select, move, parent, disable, solo, lock and relabel layers within groups. Additional functions include duplicating groups, adjusting group opacity, creating group mattes, converting groups to and from pre‑comps, and ungrouping or deleting groups. The script also offers batch‑changing of attributes on selected comp items, pre‑rendering of comps, and a customizable shortcuts panel with scroll support. KBar integration was added in version 1.0.4, and layer comments can be used alongside other add‑ons. Workflower supports After Effects versions from CC 2018 through 2026 and runs on both Windows and macOS, though Mac users and Japanese users on Windows encounter specific limitations described by the developer.
