About XPS Import/Export

XPS Import/Export is a Blender toolshelf add‑on that brings XPS/XNALara models and poses into Blender and exports them back out. It supports armatures, custom normals, and creates materials on import, while also allowing a new rest pose to be set. The add‑on is a fork of johnzero7’s XNALara Mesh tool, updated for Blender 5.0; earlier version 2.1.0 targeted Blender 4.40, and versions 2.2.0 and later require Blender 5.0. Native binary .xps export is disabled due to format compatibility, so exports default to ASCII. The project is released under the GNU GPL v3.0 or later and is listed in the blender_extensions library.

Features

  • Imports and exports XPS/XNALara models with armature
  • Imports and exports poses
  • Imports and exports custom normals
  • Creates materials on import
  • Easily set a new rest pose for a model
  • Native .xps binary export disabled; exporter redirects to ASCII by default

Best for
