TextBorder from Plugin Everything creates a border that fits around text layers in After Effects and updates automatically when the text changes. The plugin offers global and individual expansion controls for width, height, and each side, rounded edge options, solid or gradient fills, dash styles, and transform controls to animate the border independently. It works with motion blur, built-in text animation tools, and both paragraph and vertical text. Compatibility spans from CS6 through the 2024 release, and version 1.1.2 adds native Apple Silicon support. Earlier updates added multi‑frame rendering support for AE 2022, 32‑bit per channel rendering, a polygon mode, and gradient opacity with a radial mode.
