Universe from MAXON bundles 89 plugins aimed at editors and motion graphics artists. The set includes stylized looks such as VHS, Retrograde film emulation, Glitch, and Analog CRT, as well as glow tools like Glow, Chromatic Glow, Glo Fi II, Edge Glow, and lens flare tools such as Knoll Light Factory EZ, Box Bokeh and Overlight. Text and title effects (Long Shadow, Luster, Quantum, Point Zoom) sit alongside distortion tools (Heatwave, RGB Separation, Prism Displacement). The plugins run in After Effects CC 2025/2026, Premiere Pro CC 2025/2026, Final Cut Pro X 10.5/10.6, Apple Motion 5.5/5.6, and Avid Media Composer 2023.x/2024.x, with specific tools omitted on certain hosts (e.g., Bokeh and Pixel Dither tools on Final Cut Pro and Motion, Prism Displacement, Compound Blur and Picture in Picture on Avid). The 2026.0.0 release added on-screen position gizmos in DaVinci Resolve and enabled Fractal Background as a filter as well as a generator. A bug‑fix update followed in 2026.0.1.
