About Ouroboros 2

Ouroboros 2 is an After Effects script that creates multiple strokes on a single path. Developed by Sander van Dijk and Remco Janssen, it can generate centered Line, Square, Circle and Triangle shapes, then place several strokes along the same path and control them together. Each stroke can have random width, opacity, length and offset, while a single color control defines the color. Stroke width can be preserved when the original path scales. Strokes can be trimmed individually or collectively, and start/end can be linked to the original stroke. Dots can be added at the ends, and stroke direction, cap, join and random seed are adjustable. Animation options include per‑stroke delay, randomization, continuous or random speed, and keyframed speed. Version 2.0.4 runs on After Effects CC 2015.3 through the 2025 release.
