Plugin Everything TextBox 2 is a native After Effects plugin that generates a customizable shape—auto, square, circle, or polygon—directly behind a text layer. The shape resizes automatically as the text changes, preserving animated tracking and eliminating the need for parenting, mattes, or expressions. Expansion can be adjusted per edge, including negative values, and each edge can be rounded individually. Options include matting, borders with dash styles, gradient fills (linear, radial, and per‑stop opacity), and full transform controls for independent animation. The plugin works with vertical, horizontal, and paragraph text, supports motion blur, and operates at 8, 16, and 32 bits per channel. It is compatible with 3D text for X and Y positioning, though Z position is not considered. Supported versions range from After Effects CS6 through the 2026 release.
