About Power Cylinder

Power Cylinder by Crossphere is a 3D cylinder generator for Adobe After Effects. It lets you move, deform, and apply elliptic distortion, rich shading, self‑shadowing, and reflections, while reading composition lights and camera data. The plugin can render depth of field blur and can unfold the cylinder into a flat plane, with an optional inverted unfold, or extend it repeatedly. Version 1.10 introduces a Hyperboloid mode. Power Cylinder supports After Effects from CS6 through Creative Cloud releases up to the 2025 version, making it suitable for both legacy and current projects. A demo video is available on the developer’s site. The plugin is listed as free.
