About RenderQ

RenderQ automates rendering in After Effects by queuing and batch‑queuing movies, stills, and thumbnails to new or pre‑selected folders. Four customizable buttons can be configured to render a single or dual output module plus a still frame, and users can select from four still‑frame output formats. The script allows temporary or custom prefixes and suffixes, including output‑module names, which can also be used to build folder paths and create missing folders. Still frames can be generated from any point in a composition or from the Current Time Indicator. The Render+ button renders stills, removes extra suffix numbers, and brings the rendered folder to the foreground, while a separate button reopens the most recently used render locations. Version 1.3 supports After Effects 2020 through 2026, adds main‑prefix controls, and lets users save unlimited folder locations, including the project folder.
