About Zoetrope Halo Bender
Zoetrope Halo Bender provides an organic colour‑effects workflow built around a pair of HALO objects – colouriser rings that can be placed, scaled, rotated and key‑framed over video footage. Each ring can be refracted into related component hues, allowing nuanced colour variation. The plug‑in ships as two components – an Effect for speed‑optimised rendering and a Generator for compositing flexibility – both sharing a preset system and OpenGL acceleration using native macOS graphics. It runs inside After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X and Motion via Noise Industries FxFactory, which is available as a free download. The plug‑in supports both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
