About Cloners + Effectors

Cloners + Effectors provides a procedural animation system for After Effects, allowing users to animate multiple layers simultaneously by using effectors rather than individual keyframes. The core system works from After Effects CS6 through the 2026 release on Windows and HiDPI panels. Path‑based tools—including Path cloner, Path Point cloner, Path effector, and Path Ends effector—are available only in After Effects 2018 or newer. Additional capabilities include an audio‑driven animation setup, the ability to duplicate cloner systems or effectors, baking without an undo option, and parenting of cloner layers. A previous trial limit of 20 clones has been removed, and the plugin is listed as free in the catalog.
