About MOBO_Utils

MOBO_Utils is a continuously updated bundle of minimal, native utilities from Motion Boutique designed to fill specific functional gaps in Adobe After Effects. The set includes tools for layer duplication, image pasting, property selection, color palette management, font collection, expression baking/removal, and path vertex addition. Export capabilities cover GIF_Export for GIF files and APNGExport for APNG files. Compatibility spans After Effects versions 2026 back to 2020, as well as CC 2019 and CC 2018. Version 1.6, released on September 22, 2025, addressed an APNG_Export issue with non‑Latin characters in output paths. Apple Silicon support has been added in earlier releases. The plugin is listed as free, with a separate 50% student/faculty discount noted by the developer.
