About lipsyncr 2

lipsyncr 2 is an After Effects plugin that generates viseme‑based mouth animations through automatic English speech analysis. Users import a spoken audio track together with its transcription; the plugin then animates a mouth composition to match the speech. Three viseme mappings are provided—low quality with 4 illustrations, medium with 7, and high with 10—each accompanied by template images and illustration guides. Creators can replace these templates with custom artwork, build template compositions for any viseme count, and combine multiple audio tracks and mouth compositions in a single project. Developed by Joachim Holler, the plugin is at version 2.9 and is compatible with After Effects releases from CS5 through the 2026 version. A demo video demonstrates its workflow.
