About Relativity

Relativity is a layer‑arrangement panel for After Effects, developed by Freshmograph. It positions layers horizontally and vertically in rows, columns, grids, and circles, and can randomize placements based on layer relationships and composition context. The plugin supports separate dimensions for position across all commands, including offset, grids, radial arrays, and duplicate. Mirror commands include horizontal, vertical, duplicate, and manual source‑target mirroring, and a layer can serve as a custom pivot point. Independent Dimensions Offset works with random position, scale, and rotation offsets, while Auto Row (X‑only) and Auto Column (Y‑only) handle single‑axis layouts. Grids and radial arrays can generate controllers for additional animation features. Slider controls respond to modifier keys: CTRL/ALT nudge by one unit, SHIFT resets to zero, and X, Y, Z buttons invert values. A work‑area keys utility selects all keyframes in the work area for quick easing changes, and linear spatial keys create linear paths from generated curve paths. Relativity runs on After Effects CC 2019 through 2026.
