About SlabText
SlabText is a script that aligns the width of each line within paragraphs while preserving the original text formatting. It runs on After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop versions 2024 through 2026. The tool provides several alignment modes, an adjustable threshold between scaling and tracking, adjustable leading, and automatic coloring. Users can start or clear the transformation with dedicated commands, and a clearing option reverts changes. Version 1.0.1, released in January 2025, fixed a Preferences.json reading error. The catalog lists SlabText as free, and a demo video is available on the developer’s page.
