About Export: Adobe After Effects (.jsx)
Export: Adobe After Effects (.jsx) is a Blender add‑on that transfers scene data into Adobe After Effects. It exports animated cameras, lights, images, other object locations and tracking markers, creating a loadable ExtendScript (.jsx) file. After enabling the add‑on in Blender’s Extensions preferences, it appears under File → Export. Users select a destination file name and options, then run the export. The resulting .jsx file is opened in After Effects via Scripts → Run Script File, where it prompts for a composition name and builds the composition with the exported elements. The add‑on is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, is licensed under the GNU GPL v2.0 or later, and is currently version 0.2.1.
