About Flatterer

Flatterer is a Blender add‑on that transforms a 3D model into a collection of flat shapes suitable for laser cutting and exports them as SVG files. Version 1.6.0 introduces two Boolean Cut operators—one that cuts selected objects out of the active object and another that cuts the active object out of selected objects—positioned before any Solidify modifier. The release also adds a Shape Table reporting each exported shape’s surface area in square metres and extends engrave edge support to internal mesh edges. Flatterer runs on Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, is released under the GNU GPL v3.0 or later, and requires permission only to write SVG files to disk. It has been downloaded over 22,000 times from the blender_extensions library.
