About Hot Node

Hot Node is a Blender add‑on for saving and reusing node configurations across .blend files. It is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, inserting nodes quickly through the Shift A menu. The add‑on provides right‑click context‑menu saving, import/export of node packs, image matching, node sharing, and undo/redo support. Users can enable a node‑tree reuse mode or disable the extended menu to retain Blender’s default layout. The interface is available in English and Simplified Chinese, and additional translations can be contributed. Its code is GPL‑3.0+ licensed, with a decoupled architecture that accommodates some third‑party nodes, though accuracy is not guaranteed. Developers can extend functionality via the exposed SerializationManager API.
