About Qshot 2

Qshot 2 (formerly Quick Shot) is a Blender addon designed for building multi‑camera animations. Each camera represents a single shot moving from point A to point B with a configurable duration and linear or ease‑in/out interpolation. Shots can be stacked and reordered on a timeline, and the addon updates cameras and keyframes non‑destructively. It supports both EEVEE and Cycles render engines, with specific optimization for EEVEE motion blur. Version 2.1.3 adds multiple‑scene compatibility, full scene copying, drivers, and camera shake. Documentation and support links are provided on the developer’s page. The addon is released under a GPL license and listed as free.

Features

  • Multiple cameras, with each camera comprising a single shot
  • Set each camera’s in and out keyframes without explicitly selecting the camera, pressing i, and choosing a keyframe type

  • Change shot duration at any time, with all cameras and timelines updated
  • Change shot order at any time, with the timeline instantly updated
  • Drivers and camera shake
  • Multiple scene compatibility, including full scene copy

EEVEE users seeking quick visualizations and Cycles users needing flexible camera animation for advertising, visualization, or experimental projects.
