About Bone Widget

Bone Widget is a Blender add-on that assists with creating custom bone shapes. It includes an editable library containing many pre‑made shapes and allows users to add their own shapes for reuse across rigs. Starting with version 2.2, the add‑on also manages bone colors in Pose Mode and, if enabled in user preferences, in Edit Mode. It works with Blender’s predefined Bone Color Sets as well as custom colors, and can display different colors for Pose and Edit modes. The add‑on is distributed under the GNU GPL v3.0 or later and is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer. A demo video is available on the Blender Extensions platform.
