About Faster FBX Exporter

Faster FBX Exporter is a fork of Blender’s built‑in .fbx exporter designed to run considerably faster, especially for static objects that use modifiers. It defaults to exporting selected objects and provides a names_of_objects_to_export parameter, allowing scripts to target specific objects by name regardless of their selection or visibility state. Version 0.3.0 addresses a performance regression in Blender 5.2, and the add‑on is compatible with Blender 5.2 LTS and newer. It requests permission only to write .fbx files and is released under the GNU GPL v3.0 or later. The add‑on is distributed through the Blender extensions library.
