About Per-Camera Resolution

Per-Camera Resolution replaces Blender’s single, globally defined scene resolution with a resolution stored on each camera. The per‑camera settings appear in the Object Data properties under the Camera panel and update automatically when the active camera changes, either manually or through timeline markers. Because Blender cannot animate resolution by default, the add‑on provides a Render Animated Resolution operator that updates the resolution per camera during a render, though the interface remains locked until rendering completes. It also offers a Bake Render Border feature: define a render border with Ctrl + B in the 3D view, click Bake Render Border, and a new camera is created matching that exact area, enabling multiple cropped cameras. The add‑on is available in English, French, and simplified Chinese, requires no special permissions, and runs on Blender 4.2 LTS and newer.
