About Smart PSD to PNG

Smart PSD to PNG is a script for Adobe After Effects that replaces heavy Photoshop layers with optimized PNG files to reduce render times and improve timeline performance. The script retains a full revert capability, letting users switch back to the original PSD source with a single click. A global revert can be triggered by Shift‑clicking a PSD, reverting all converted PNGs across the project. Fast Mode, accessed from the gear menu, bypasses BridgeTalk Photoshop export for quicker processing. The tool supports batch conversion of all files in one click and can also convert a single PSD with all its layers. Released version 1.0 in March 2026, it is compatible with After Effects 2026, 2025, 2024, and 2023.
