About Soft Body 2

Soft Body 2 is an After Effects plugin from MotionDesk that generates soft objects with collision behavior. It provides two simulation engines: Quick, which includes an auto‑animation Wobble feature and softens sharp angles, and Advance, added in version 2, which can bend images and layers. Users can apply the plugin to shape layers, text layers, and pre‑compositions, and create multiple colliders per soft body with a dedicated selector. Advanced settings allow fine‑tuning of the soft layer. The plugin is compatible with After Effects CC 2019 through 2025. Limitations include reduced effectiveness with very small or very thin objects and angle softening in the Quick engine. A demo video is available from the developer.
