About YY_Voronoi 2

YY_Voronoi 2 creates procedural Voronoi textures directly within After Effects. Users can produce terrain maps, water caustics, or abstract backgrounds and combine multiple Voronoi patterns for added complexity. Controls include offset, grid size, contrast, brightness, a random seed, and a blend mode for a background image. Color calculation modes are Square Distance (default), Absolute Distance, Edge Distance, and Discrete for a mosaic effect. Distance metrics include Euclidean and Manhattan. Dispersion can be set manually or driven by a layer’s pixel values, where black equals no dispersion and white equals full dispersion. Evolution controls animate cells with a seamless looping period, and Repeat X/Y options tile the grid horizontally or vertically. Version 2 introduced a redesigned native‑code algorithm for faster rendering and full backward compatibility, and version 2.1 added Apple Silicon (M1) and MFR support.
