About Declutter

Declutter is an After Effects extension that automatically organizes a messy project panel. It lets you define folder structures with names, color labels and multiple filters, then sorts assets into those folders. You can create and save any number of structures, and the tool handles thousands of assets in seconds, offering up to three times faster sorting than previous versions. Smart asset sorting includes search‑by‑name, and selective targeting lets you sort specific assets or the entire project. Import and export functions allow you to exchange folder structures with teammates. Filters cover audio, video, image files, image sequences, data files, specific extensions (e.g., .png, .c4d) and missing files. Preferences let you auto‑save the project before organizing, wrap organized items in a labeled top folder, remove empty folders and control how uncategorized items are handled.
