About Quick J ( Connect Vertex Path )
Quick J (Connect Vertex Path) is a free Blender add‑on that connects vertices located under the cursor. Hover over a vertex, press J, and the add‑on creates the connection without requiring a second selection. The hover radius is adjustable for precise targeting. By default, after each connection the add‑on deselects all vertices except the hovered one, facilitating sequential operations; this behavior can be disabled. The default key binding uses J, overriding Blender’s standard function, but it can be reassigned in the Keymap under the entry “Quick Connect Vertex Path”. An on‑screen indicator shows the hover area and can be turned off. The add‑on is compatible with Blender 4.2 LTS and newer, is 2.5 KB in size, and is released under the GNU GPL v3.0 or later. No special permissions are required for installation.
