About Render+

Render+ is a Blender add‑on focused on batch rendering. Its panel lets you create jobs for animations or still images with custom frame ranges and per‑job control over world, camera, scene, view layer and output size. You can add external blend files individually or in bulk and assign a specific GPU, the CPU, or all devices per job. The Custom Overrides tab lets you modify any blend‑file setting for each job, while Quick Batches can generate jobs for scenes, cameras, markers, view layers, or split a large image into smaller tiles. Network rendering sends jobs to a server for distributed processing. Most batch features also apply to single renders, including desktop/email/sound notifications, automatic power‑off or sleep, pre‑ and post‑render shell commands or Python scripts, render statistics with CSV export, autosave on F12, and an autohide option that removes viewport‑hidden objects from the final image. The add‑on reports total, average, slowest and fastest frame times for each batch.

Features

  • Batch panel to set up and run render jobs for animations or still images at custom frames or ranges, with per-job control over world, camera, scene, view layer and size
  • Render from external blend files, added individually or in bulk, with a different GPU, the CPU or all devices assigned per job
  • Custom Overrides tab to modify anything in the blend file for each render job
  • Quick Batches that generate jobs for scenes, cameras, markers and view layers, or split a large image into smaller jobs
  • Network rendering that sends jobs to a server
  • Notifications, power-off, and shell commands or Python scripts before and after rendering, for batches and single renders
  • Render statistics with CSV export, autosave on F12, and autohide for objects hidden in the viewport but not for rendering

Best for

Blender users who need to automate batch renders across multiple scenes, cameras, or external files, and who want notification, power‑off, and detailed render statistics.

Frequently asked questions

What Blender version does Render+ support?

Render+ is listed as compatible with Blender 5.1; refer to the developer’s page for the exact range of supported Blender versions.

Can Render+ render across multiple machines?

Render+ supports network rendering by sending jobs to a server, allowing distribution across multiple machines, and also lets you assign different GPUs or the CPU to jobs on a single machine.

Does Render+ work for single renders, not just batches?

Yes, most batch features—including notifications, power‑off, pre/post render scripts, CSV statistics, autosave on F12, and autohide—are also available for single renders.

How does Render+ handle very high resolutions like 16K?

High‑resolution renders can be handled by the Quick Batches feature, which splits a large image (e.g., 16K) into smaller tiles (such as 64 × 1080p jobs) that can be rendered locally or sent to a server.

Is Render+ free?

Render+ is listed as free in this catalog; there is no cost to download, though licensing terms may be updated on the developer’s site.
